I have an update about our community transport service for the Central Coast: Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport has been delivering services for Coast residents for 12 months and, pleasingly, our capacity, team and fleet continues growing. If you, your family or friends need transport we can help.
Names needed: we have three brand-new buses coming, one with a wheelchair hoist. And as these vehicles are for you, we’d like you to name them! Email your ideas to: [email protected] or call us. Community transport operates under the new Aged Care Act so there will be changes as of November 1st. We will soon send you a Service Agreement, detailing your rights and obligations when being serviced by us, as well as our promise to you. The Act requires you sign and return it. There are also new and strengthened rules for whistle blowers and complaints management. Got feedback on our services? Costs shown are for CHSP-eligible customers only.
Prepayment
Thank you for understanding that prepayment of outings is preferred and appreciated by your HKCT team. It greatly assists our drivers and office team.
Cancellations
Charges apply to outings with luncheons or entries pre-arranged and included in your price. Reservation deadlines dictate our prepayments so, should you cancel within 3 working days of an outing (or contrary to a venue’s rules), please understand when we advise you of the non-refundable portion of your prepayment.

Our intended outings, destinations and venues are subject to NSW Health’s restrictions.
